question about bohemian/czech ancestry?
my grandfather was a full blood bohemian czech and had red hair, and my cousin’s wife’s brother in law is bohemian and is also a red head, is this common for bohemians/czechs to be red heads? also both my grandpa and my cousin’s wife’s brother in law have/had fair skin and freckles, i thought red hair was most common in the irish and scottish? as far as i know my grandpa had no irish or scottish ancestry, i have traced his parents back to bohemia and for 4/5 generations back they were all bohemian, just wondering how common this is, thanks for answering.
Natural red hair is rather rare among Czech people, Their most common hair color is brown followed by blonde and black. Red can occur when one of the parents has fair hair and the other has dark hair.
