Chickenpox is a simple common name for chickenpox, classically one of the childhood infectious diseases caught and survived by most children.

Chickenpox is caused by the varicella-zoster. It begins with mild fever and characteristic points below, in two or three waves, mainly in the body and head instead of the hands and becoming itchy raw pox (pocks), small sores that heal without scarring in most cases.

Chickenpox has a period incubation of two weeks and is highly contagious by air, two days before the onset of symptoms. Therefore, chickenpox spreads rapidly through schools and other places of contact. Once someone has been infected by the disease usually develop protective immunity for life. Chickenpox is rarely more times, but it is possible that people in the immune system illegal. Chickenpox is a highly contagious infection that spreads from person to person by direct contact or through the air from an infected person coughs or sneezes. Touching the fluid from chickenpox blisters can also spread the disease. A people with chickenpox is contagious 1-2 days before the rash appears and until the blisters scab has formed. This may take 5-10 days. It borrows from 10-21 days after contact with an infected person to develop chickenpox.

The blisters of chickenpox begin as small red papules that develops an irregular outline in the form of a rose petal. After about 8-12 hours the fluid in the vesicle becomes cloudy and the vesicle breaks leaving a crust. The fluid is highly contagious, but once the lesion crusts over, it is not contagious. The crust usually falls after 7 days sometimes leaving a scar crater.

Despite an injury goes through this complete cycle in about 7 days, another feature of Chickenpox is the fact that new lesions that arise every day for several days. Therefore, it can take about a week until new lesions stop appearing and existing lesions covered with a scab.
