now in a very conservative family, so that food, only maize and "pottage," need a dish to make at Christmas.
How about a carrot souffle. This is a Vegatable but taste wonderful if we could use it for dessert. We love everybody here. Carrot Souffle 1 1 / 2 pound carrots, sliced 1 / 2 cup butter, 3 eggs, 1 cup of tea vanilla 1 / 4 cup all purpose flour 1 1 / 2 c. tea powder paste 1 1 / 2 cup sugar 3 / 4 cup cinnamon tea (to taste) Add the carrots in a pot, add water to cover and bring to a boil and cook 20-25 minutes or until tender, drain. Add the carrots, butter and remaining ingredients in a food processor. Process until mixture is smooth. Pour the mixture into a lightly greased 1 1 / 2 Quart cast blowing. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until firm. NFD ♥
