1 QT Baking Dish for Cornish Hen Recipe?
I am making Cornish Game Hens–with stuffing and port wine sauce.
Calls for a 1 QT baking dish. I have a 1QT Le Creuset dutch oven; a 1.5 QT glass bread/meatloaf dish; a 1 QT ceramic pie dish, etc.
Would any of these work–or are specifically meant by the directions? My concern is getting the outer edges of the bird the right consistency (instructions call for bird to be separately browned before roasting), so wonder if the height of the dish matters for this reason.

So does baking dish mean 2″ sides? Like a cake pan?
The height does matter a lot because you want the flavor to be all over the Cornish Hen.
