Mikasa Crystal?
I have my aunt future stepmother (heheheh) an old Mikasa Cake Plate. I wondered a coupe of things. 1. What Role of the mural is a cake? Is it just decorative or serve you in it? 2. I did a search and came with two sites in German. The information I have is that Mikasa is a Satiert Carmen Torta de la Plata. He has been featured in Germanyand Art.-Nr. 1828 / 0 in the box. Someone Any information on this plate? I'm not the date that was done, but it was probably in the 70s some time.
A cake plate is used to display a cake (or cake if you prefer.) I guess you could used to serve the cake if you want … Really what you are doing is a cake, ice, and then put it on the plate of cake to show your guests. Some boards are delivered torte with a decorative cover for if you have the cake for a long time before eating. It's perfect for birthdays when you have a round cake layer. You put cake in cake plate, light candles and sing happy birthday, and serve in a separate tray. But I suppose if that glass, you should use it to display only know I'm fabulous!
