Is it okay to cut the bottom of my mini bamboo stalk?
I just bough this beautiful vase to put it in, and it turns out the vase opening is too small to fit the bamboo into. Would it die if I cut the bottom off? (Including the roots, etc?)
If not, I want to cut them off partially and shave the end down so its smaller around the width. What can I do ?
its not necessarily the roots, its the width of the whole stalk
i would believe so. a plant’s main source of nutrients is through its roots and its lower half absorbs the nutrients gotten from the roots, so i would now cut the bottom off. this is just my opinion, im by no means a specialist or anything, so this is all just me
