need for information on antique chess / board games made in the Victorian era, Tudor rose inlay, carved solid walnut eng oak?
I recently found a piece that is simply great and I would get a response from the art world. The play is a chess Victoria / game table around 1850-1855. This is a table for two. I was very surprised by this piece because the retailer. It is solid walnut, carved, inlaid oak English hand carved with Tudor roses inlaid in the table and legs. The four legs are joined at the bottom with a center piece in the center of Nice. Dimensions – receive as much information on this piece as possible.
Suggest taking it to a reputable antique dealer for analysis and value.
